30 Days of lists - 26

We had plenty of seeds growing away!

The tomatoes were already in the polytunnel

The peas were getting ready to be planted out

Courgettes, courgettes, courgettes!

This year the cold weather has really set us back in fact we don't even have our tomatoes sown yet...

30 Days of lists - 24

Bumpkin (goldfish)

My first pet!  I can't have been very old when I owned Bumpkin because it (he?) was supposed to be called Pumpkin but I couldn't pronounce Pumpkin properly so Bumpkin it was!

Eddie (goldfish)

Eddie had a partner in crime but he died fairly early on and I can't remember it's name (I loved it so much).  Eddie was great he lasted 8 years and used to catch bubbles in his mouth, he'd then swim to the bottom of his bowl let the bubble go and dart to the surface and catch it again.  I'm not entirely sure if he was entertaining himself or was just a little bit daft?

Chief (goldfish)

This was actually a present to MozzyMr one Valentine's day but I took care of him too so I think I can count him in this list?  Chief's tank lived in the kitchen, when you were cooking or washing up he'd float in the corner of his tank closest to you and watch.  He died at 8 years old as well, we  woke early the morning afterwards popped him in a plastic bag and took him to a nice river so he could have a more dignified 'burial' than just flushing him down the bog.

Ella (cat)

Also known as Pigga, Wigglet, Wiggy-woo, Lady Chubbington, Pudding Head, Chairman Meow... I could go on we had millions of names for the little beast.  She was my first cat, a rescue cat.  She was lovely, but difficult as well, when we got her she was 3 years old and had her issues which never really went away but we loved her a lot and she was funny and affectionate (at times) she died last May and we miss her but we had 9 years with her and hopefully she enjoyed her time with us.

Mewster (cat)

Our current pet.  Mewster is awesome, she's so daft, but so affectionate and a real joy to live with even if she does bat you in the face when you're trying to sleep.  She loves knocking things of tables and does a good impression of a squirrel when she bobs about on her hind legs.  She isn't a huge fan of going outside but when she does she transfers muddy paw prints across everything.

30 Days of lists - 23

Sprained wrist and bruised spine (pesky roller derby!)
Chipped knee bone (pesky roller blading!)
Knocked noggin' (pesky bike)
Mysterious scar on jawline that cannot be explained by my parents or I....
Bruises, bruises, bruises I bruise like a peach :/

30 Days of lists - 20

I do not regret...

  1. Living in Devon.  It's a really weird place to be and occasionally Devon folk will make a giant paper scone with cream and jam, and they will parade that scone around town.  You know what?  That's absolutely fine by me.
  2. Posting too many pictures of cats wearing odd outfits on Facebook, yeah that's right I'm one of THOSE people.
  3. Any Birthday, I don't particularly enjoy looking older but I do feel I'm getting wiser!
  4. Laughing at daft cat memes or any animal memes for that matter.
  5. Having a Pusheen background on my work PC.
  6. A love of 9gag.com and themetapicture.com
  7. A love of all things glow in the dark, and perhaps not growing up too quickly.
  8. Walking like this, with a face like that when the day is going well or it's summertime.
  9. Looking after my teeth!  Seriously people; electric toothbrushes and flossing are a must, I don't have an amazingly good looking set of gnashers but I don't have any fillings either!

30 Days of lists - 2

So the 30 days of lists challenge continues!  I did a similar post recently but hey, sorry about that :/

  1. I think sushi might just be my all time favourite food ever, whenever I go to Yo Sushi I completely over indulge but don't regret it one bit.
  2. I am SUCH a lightweight, always have been.  Mewster the cat could drink me under the table without a doubt.  I've put in the practice (mostly with my enabler friend Marte) but alas I am a gnat's breath away from being hammered most of the time.
  3. I like crazy golf a lot but don't play it very often, I might need to change that this year.
  4. It has taken close to 25 years for me to find a hairdresser who doesn't make me want to cry when I leave the salon.  If she ever mentions leaving I might have to kidnap her (I jest) (maybe).
  5. I have no line in the sand when it comes to kitsch, I think I regularly push the boundaries of 'taste' and have watched on a number of occasions my friends say 'oooooooh, mmm yeah it's really nice' whilst backing out of the room.
  6. I shove things in cupboards to 'tidy' but whoever opens the cupboard next will have it all fall out at their feet.  I think MozzyMr is quite patient with this habit of mine.
  7. I've stopped buying fashion magazines because they made me feel ugly.
  8. I would like to have a pet rabbit, I would call it Trixie.

30 Days of lists - 1

I've decided to do the 30 days of lists challenge this March, the first list?  "I am a lister because...."
I tried to actually list more than one thing but to be honest with you I list simply because I have a chaotic brain!  My short term memory is a bit of a joke, at work I am ruled by to do lists and post-it notes at home I can forget what we were watching on the television two minutes after we finished watching.  Ahh well.
